My throttle is stuck at high speed

I'm scared my 2018 Pan America is stuck at an unbelievably high RPM I can't get it below 3500 rpm. I'm not even moving the throttle anymore but it's THIS high already. It's so hard to get it to idle. Is it a mechanical issue I can fix quickly or do I need to immediately go to the dealer.

Get it to the dealer ASAP before something goes wrong. I'm always wary when it's a speed or throttle thing because that's gonna get you in danger.

That sounds sketchy, like the throttle might be sticking or the idle control's messed up, it's risky, so if it won't fix easily, you might wanna hit up the dealer pronto.

@Bacon&Pancake Sounds like a potential Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) going haywire. Those can mess with the ECU big time, and usually need dealer calibration or replacement

To reset the throttle position sensor, just turn the ignition on and off four times without touching the throttle. You should also check for any leaks in the intake manifold and ensure that your software is up to date. If those steps don't work, you might need to call a pro.
