Slipping clutch on 2021 Pan Am?

I joined this forum and wanted to see if anyone else has experienced the same on their Pan Am.. I have a 2021 model and I've noticed a strange sensation under hard acceleration. When I go full throttle in Road or Sport mode, the RPMs jump up significantly, from around 6000 to 8000, without a corresponding increase in speed. It feels exactly like a slipping clutch for a second or two before it seems to re-engage and the bike pulls hard again. My traction control light doesn't come on, so I don't think it's wheelspin. I just hit 5000 miles on it, so I'm a little surprised.

Any thoughts or similar experiences? I'm debating whether to bring it to the dealer now or wait and see if it gets worse.

@maxxrevv_75 That sounds like it could be early clutch wear or maybe a slipping assist mechanism under load. I think take it to the dealer sooner rather than later to avoid any bigger issues down the line.
