How to turn on the LED strip under the windshield?

Does anyone know how to turn on that thin LED light strip just under the windshield? I've seen some bikes with it lit up and assumed it was a DRL or accent light, but mine's been off since day one, is it tied to a certain mode, accessory power, or something in the settings menu? or do I need to enable it through a dealership flash?

I think that LED strip under the windshield is a DRL or accent light, but on some bikes its not active by default. It might need to be enabled through the settings menu or could require a dealership flash, depending on your model. Have you checked your bike's lighting settings or asked the dealer if its a region-specific feature?

I think that LED strip often functions as DRL on many models. It's usually tied into the ignition and should come on automatically with the bike, not requiring a separate switch or menu activation. If yours has never come on, it's worth checking your owner's manual first to confirm its intended operation for your specific year and model. If the manual confirms it should be on and it's not, it's possible there's a wiring issue or a faulty component, and a dealership visit might be necessary to diagnose it. I don't think it would require a flash unless it's a very specific, high-end touring model with unique lighting options.
